The office of the Dean of Students is primarily concerned with students’ welfare while in the University. The Students Affairs Office is under the general guidance of the Dean of Students. The main office is situated on administration Block next to Finance offices, in the Campus.
The office co-ordinates all the activities that affect students’ welfare such as;
- Clubs and Societies,
- Students Union (KIMUSU),
- Conduct and discipline of students,
- Physically challenged students,
- Games, Sports and Recreation,
The office works in liaison with other services departments that affect students’ welfare namely, the Catering and Hostels department, Health unit and the Security department. It also cooperates with the general public on matters affecting individuals or group of students and acts as the link between the university administration and students.
